Create a logo for a restaurant of choice.

My favorite local diner is the Old Townhouse Diner located in Ocean Beach California. I was inspired one morning during breakfast to revamp their logo, and so I got to the drawing board. I created a playful design that reflects the unique character of Ocean Beach, while adhering to the color scheme and branding of the current logo. My logo shows a drawing of the outside building featuring a person going by on a skateboard sipping coffee and holding a surfboard, a scene that happens daily as people pass by on Newport street. My goal with this design was to connect with the community and create something that tells a story.
